Greetings and blessings...
As many would rightly say, All Saints Church is a 'cute little' church in the city of Coimbatore and a blessed home of worship for the CSI Malayalee Christians. It was on December 12, 1993, the pioneering efforts of a group of Malayalam-speaking CSI Christians who felt the need for a Malayalam church became a reality, giving birth to the All Saints CSI Malayalam Church in Coimbatore. The first Holy Communion service was celebrated at the All Souls Church. A chapel was built and dedicated after buying a plot in Kannapa Nagar in 1995. Most of the supporting organizations and prayer meetings had become active by then. Later, a plot for a cemetery was bought, and then a parsonage in TVS Nagar - Koundampalayam Road was also bought.
The All Saints CSI Malayalam Church in Coimbatore is a home for all Malayalam-speaking CSI Christians in Coimbatore. Members of our parish hail from the CSI dioceses in Kerala, namely Madhya Kerala, South Kerala, East Kerala, Kollam-Kottarakkara, Cochin and Malabar. We have members attending our services from all across Coimbatore.
Holy Communion services are celebrated every Sunday at 9 AM. A Wednesday prayer meeting, a Friday fasting prayer, and a Cottage prayer meeting are conducted regularly.
We belong to the Church of South India (CSI), one of India's biggest denominations. The Church of South India is the result of the union of churches of varying traditions, including Anglican, Methodist, Congregational, Presbyterian, and Reformed. We have 24 dioceses and 15,000 congregations all over South India, with around 5 million people in five major linguistic groups. The members of our congregation have migrated from Kerala. So, we worship using the Malayalam liturgy. This congregation is affiliated with the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese, and our spiritual head is the CSI MKD Bishop. We also have a close association with CSI Coimbatore Diocese and with many other ecumenical bodies in the Coimbatore area. If anybody wants to participate in our fellowship, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
COME, CELEBRATE THE UNITY, KEEP THE IDENTITY AND CULTURE, AND WORSHIP WITH US IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH.
